Disability Rights Victoria - physical and multiple is funded to provide individual advocacy to people with physical and multiple disabilities throughout Victoria.

DAIS is contracted to provide this service.

HACC EAP

DAIS auspices the Home and Community Care (HACC) Equity and Access Program.

This program aims to support HACC services and mainstream Aged and Disability services to respond to the needs of special needs groups in the community.

The following groups of people have special needs regarding access to HACC services:

• People from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background.
• People from Aboriginal  and Torres Strait Islanders (ATSI) background.
• Young people with a disability, people who are homeless, or living in unsuitable and/or insecure housing.
• People living in remote rural areas
• People with dementia or an acquired brain injury

Advance Newsletter

DAIS produces a quarterly newsletter - Advance - with information on support groups, local and regional issues, community activities, and consumer articles.
